If once is happenstance and twice is coincidence, then 13 times should probably be called pattern — and just something Tony Moeller’s many satisfied clients can now simply count on.
Tony was once again named a winner of the Five Star Wealth Manager award. The 2025 award marks the 13th time he’s been honored, including the last 11 years in a row, for his outstanding commitment to his clients.
The Five Star Award Program evaluated more than 2,000 award candidates in the Kansas City region and selected 121 (about 6% of the total) as Five Star Wealth Managers.
The objective of the award is to “recognize wealth management professionals who show a commitment to clients, demonstrate strong industry credentials, and are evaluated on the quality of their current practice.”
Following his nomination and prequalification review based on industry credentials, Tony participated in an interview process and then was evaluated using an in-depth research methodology that includes 10 objective criteria. Every award candidate had to meet certain requirements:
- Be credentialed as a registered investment advisor or representative
- Be actively employed for a minimum of five years
- Maintain a favorable regulatory and complaint history review
- Fulfill their firm review based on internal firm standards
The award also looks at a wealth manager’s one-year and five-year client retention rate, the number of client households served, and their education and professional designations.
“These days, it takes a village to manage your financial world,” the organization wrote in an announcement. “Whether it is managing your assets with a wealth manager, navigating the ever-changing tax landscape, sorting out your estate and succession planning, or picking the right life insurance, finding the right team can be a daunting task.”
To help with that search, Five Star Professional uses its own proprietary research methodology to identify outstanding wealth managers and works with publications such as Kansas City Magazine to share the news about the honorees.
Now as a 13-time Five Star winner and with more than 37 years of experience providing a personalized approach to investing, Tony said the award is a tangible reflection of the commitment to clients shared by everyone on the MN Wealth Advisors team:
